Muellermilch Doppeldecker (2008)

One of the hardest jobs ever was the simulation of the fluids in the Muellermilch Doppeldecker advertisement for Animationsfabrik GmbH in Hamburg.

One part was the interaction of the two surfers with the green wobble pudding. That was pretty easily achieved using Realwave. Well, enough problems on that side, too, but in comparison easy.

Then there was the interaction of the vanilla sauce with the wobble pudding. But I guess that became an inhouse secret, so I better don't talk about it.

Simulation of the vanilla sauce was done in Realflow. The "fingers" on the bottom were animated polygon objects. Needed for the interaction of the surfers and the clients wishes that couldn't be done with Realflow.

It just was so hard to get it all look good. I started to hate Realflow, somehow every limit was reached, cpu wise, program wise, parameter wise. I swore that I'll never touch that stupid, fucking, shit program again. But then again, it's sooo coool. You just have to have lots of nerves. Maybe there'll be a tech-test, soon, I am working on a nice little crappy idea.
