It’s about to start

23 Apr

The supplement for the diet finally arrived, so I can go to 100 percent.

So far I lost nearly 5kg without really dieting at all. But now it’s at a breaking point where I need some real guns.
In the words of my canadian dentist: ‘You don’t bring a knife to a gunfight!’

Let’s get that shit rolling.

Here is a nice video (warning, don’t eat while watching) that will show you why movement is a nice thing to do.

Power Outage

22 Apr

Today the power went down in the Wellington area.

This is my video on how to survive the time until power comes back on.

Yummi yumm

11 Apr

So here is the first meal of the diet. This is still during test-dieting to see if I can life to tell about the diet.

It didn’t taste enormously good. But I am sure I can improve the taste with the possible ingredients allowed during dieting.

Food Scale

11 Apr

To get the diet straight I got myself a nice digital food scale.

One of the rare products I bought so far that really satisfies me. Looks great and best of all, actually works, hehe.

It even has a great button that lets you set the scale to 0 if you put whatever empty bowl on it. So that you don’t have to substract weights. It tells you exactly how much the weight, of whatever you put on it, is. Love it.

Empire Black Pepper

11 Apr

Empire Black Pepper. Expensive and with lots of big words on the back.

I actually can’t find the uber-quality they are talking about. It tastes just like any other peppercorns, just more expensive.

Doesn’t taste bad at all, just not any more enlightening as normal pepper.

Pacific Salt Solar Harvested Salt

11 Apr

Solar harvested salt from the ozean. Wow, how much more healthy can it get?

The only concern I am having is where that water is taken from the ocean. I mean if it’s taken from a harbor you can as well sniff gasoline. Hmm, let’s hope they take it from a clean area.

Other then that it’s awesome.

The only drawback is the little note on the back saying that you need a quality grinder since the moisture is higher than in normal salt rocks. Find the error in the sentence.
No I am not saying that everything is shit in this country, but talking about a quality grinder is like talking about a quality toilet brush.

New Way Sausage Rolls

11 Apr

Definitely had worse frozen food here but it’s not a taste sensation either.

The meat just tastes wrong. But it’s still ok, so once in a while you can give it a go. The crust is very yummy.

McCain Pizza Perfection Speciale

11 Apr

On a first impression it doesn’t look too bad, but not too good either.

All in all one the few I have tried tasted really good, the others just made me want to vomit. The bacon just tasted like tortured animal.

I still would not recommend buying a single ready-to-eat frozen food in NZ. I don’t know what’s going on with them but whatever it is they are putting in their food, it makes my body very uncomfortable.

First take on cooking

11 Apr

So this is my pre-test before I start the diet. Just to check if it’s ok, tastes acceptable etc.

Conclusion. Cooking is fun. Makes me angry and want to yell, but once you have the finished product in your mouth and it tastes good, I am working on the last part yet, it really is an awesome thing to do.

And it doesn’t even take hours and hours. It can be pretty fast, too. And your body will be very thankful, too.

Healthy Shopping

09 Apr

So I decided to change my food resources from processed junk food to healthy food.

Hmm, after the first shopping I am not so sure about that anymore.
Glass of olives filled with feta cheese 7.82$
Plate of olives, feta cheese, dried tomatoes (2 portions I have to admit) 8.99$
Kaimai Cheese Boccon (Mozzarella cheese) 11.99$
Milano Salami La (awesome) 6.99$

It lasted 2 days. So basically 30$ for 2 dinners (some olives are still there). That’s fucking expensive. Could have gone 3 times to McDonalds. Crap. Fuck healthy food. And who says it’s healthy anyway!

Most of the bullshit written all over the food I don’t even understand. So I went to applesauce, my area of expertise. Hallelujah, nearly impossible to buy sugar free or preservatives free or trash apple free apple sauce. There you go. Back in the shelf, dusty, for no one to buy I finally found a glass of healthy apple sauce.

This is fucking retarded.

Then I went to get my sorry ass a nice healthy juice. Yeah fuck that, they cover that bullshit in really nice words but none and I mean NONE of the crap they sell as unprocessed or healthy actually IS unprocessed, nor healthy. This pisses me off big time.
And if it’s so fresh then why do you add your fucking vitamin C in every single bottle. It should have enough vitamin C by itself you douche bags.
Very frustrating. So I literally spent hours in the stupid store, freaked out a dozen employees until I ended up with some sort of store boss bullocks cock. Sigh.

Anyway, so it’s harder to get good stuff in your body then I expected. Well, I am on it, won’t give up that easy. But it’s always nice to see how much you need to investigate, research and educate yourself to not get bullshitted by commerce.

Fuck all you assholes selling healthy food that is just a plain lie. But still costs double the price. Fuck you!

At least the total sum made me laugh. 55.55$ nice
