Hmm, I am confused. Half of me is disgusted by people killing sharks, but the other half wants to see awesome footage of sharks.
But it seems they don’t kill the sharks, just catch them, do some measuring and release them, uhm, let’s see. Some fantastic shark footage in any case.
I like sharks and I think they are incredible important for the world. Sucks to get eaten by them, though.
Thought it would be time for a little update since I now actually watched the series.
First of all .. awesome. But watch it in HD if you can, those images are amazing.
Unfortunately it gets a tad repetitive after a while but heck, beautiful images, amazing closeups of sharks, really cool stuff.
Highly recommended.
What’s it about? Well, it’s a bunch of scientists on a boat. They try to catch sharks and tag them with GPS devices. Also equipped with inflatable boats it’s a call for adventure. They also have this hightech crane. Task is catching a shark, getting it to move in there, lift it, tag it, release. Sounds easy right? Well, if it wasn’t for tons of muscles with sharp teeth it might be easy indeed.
